Teaching Ultrasound in Developing Countries: Issues to Consider When Working in Small Medical Facilities

The author provides some suggestions for those considering travel to developing countries to provide training in ultrasound at small medical facilities. Issues discussed will include planning before the trip, personal safety and health while there, as well as equipment and travel issues.
