Orthopedic injuries are among the most challenging conditions for primary care providers. Foot afflictions that are often undiagnosed are the Jones fracture, Lisfranc injury, and Charcot arthropathy. Delays in diagnosing these foot injuries can cause delays in treatment, which may result in long-term pain, disability, and functional limitation.
