2014 Society of Thoracic Radiology Meeting and Postgraduate Course
The Society of Thoracic radiology is holding its 2014 annual meeting and postgraduate course March 16-19, 2014 at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio Hotel in San Antonio, TX. The program includes a comprehensive review of cardiothoracic imaging offering up to 35.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and nine ABR-certified self-assessment modules (SAMs). This year’s Gordon Gamsu Memorial Lecture, entitled “Pulmonary Nodule Characterization”, will be given by Dr. Jane Ko. The Benjamin Felson Memorial Lecture will be given by Dr. John Heymach and is entitled “Emerging Molecular Targets and Imaging Opportunities in Lung Cancer”. The Scanlon Symposium this year is on molecular imaging in thoracic imaging; the Scanlon Lecture, “Molecular Imaging of Lung Cancer”, will be given by Dr. David Piwnica-Worms. As in past years, the didactic portion of the postgraduate course will be complemented by scientific sessions, cases of the day, and the popular image interpretation session are part of the meeting.
