Note from the Publisher

The decision has been made to discontinue publication of The Endocrinologist.

Launched in 1991, The Endocrinologist was developed to fill a gap in the literature, to meet the needs of clinicians looking for the most up-to-date information on endocrinology, diabetes, metabolism, reproduction, growth and development.  The Endocrinologist has enjoyed a reputation for solid editorial content.  Financially, however, the journal has struggled in recent years. Unfortunately, a journal dependent on subscriptions for survival cannot continue without schools, institutions, and individuals supporting it through subscription fees.

It has been a pleasure and an honor to work with Dr. D. Lynn Loriaux, who has dedicated much of his time and energy to the publication over the past twenty years.  And although we are saddened by the discontinuation of The Endocrinologist, we believe the Journal made a meaningful contribution to clinicians seeking authoritative updates on endocrinology in their day to day practice.  LWW extends our congratulations to those of you who have contributed to this success.
