In the article that appeared on pages 8-18 of the February 2017 issue of Surgical Laparoscopy Endoscopy & Percutaneous Techniques, in Figure 2 A) and B) as published have been identified to contain a number of errors. The data listed for Peterli et al should read Helmio et al; the data listed for Helmio et al should read Vix et al; the data for Vix et al should read Zhang et al; the data for Zhang et al should read Yang et al; the data for Yang et al should read de Barros et al, and there is a line omitted that should read Peterli et al that contains no data as %EWL was not reported by this group. The data listed for the Karamanakos et al, Kehagias et al and Keidar et al studies are correct.
