Treatment included flushing into the duodenum, catheter drainage of the duct for cholangiographic and percutaneous access, open choledochotomy with stone removal and E.R.C.P., or combinations thereof. A technique for open choledocholithotomy with suture closure of the duct is presented. © Lippincott-Raven Publishers.
