In Brief:
Childhood spondylodiscitis is rare, and the course of the disease is generally benign, as was documented by our long-term follow-up of 20 patients. The clinical, paraclinical, functional, and radiologic parameters of the patients were analyzed at onset and at follow-up examinations carried out at least 10 years later. Our study shows that the long-term outcome of nonoperatively managed childhood spondylodiscitis is good to very good.
