In Brief:
Forty-three patients (49 eyes) with intraretinal hyperreflective lines were imaged with spectral-domain optical coherence tomography. They were observed in various conditions: adult vitelliform dystrophy, age-related maculopathy/age-related macular degeneration, subretinal hemorrhages, idiopathic macular microhole, and miscellaneous disorders. This pattern could correspond to a previously unrecognized reaction to various photoreceptor, Müller cell, and/or retinal pigment epithelium damage.
