The findings revealed that nurse executives in rehabilitation were more satisfied than their acute care counterparts in areas related to promotion, supervision, and relationships with coworkers. The rehabilitation nurse executives were less satisfied than the acute care group in the areas of pay and the work itself. © 1990 Association of Rehabilitation Nurses.
