An article by Durand et al. published in the July-August 2021 issue1 omitted the sample size and one conflict of interest.
- The sample consisted of 17 individuals who completed the trial on vortioxetine and 15 on placebo.
- The conflict of interest statement omitted the fact that author Charles Nemeroff had served as a consultant for Takeda. This information was included in a disclosure form submitted by Dr. Nemeroff to the journal, but the information was not published.
