In this #FacetheCase video, PRS Global Open Resident Ambassador Dr. Íris Brito presents a A 62-year-old woman with bilateral breast augmentation with silicone implants 10 years ago, presented with a 3-month history of “B Type” symptoms consisting of fever, night sweats, and weight loss. Initial imaging workup revealed a chest wall mass, diffuse lymphadenopathy, and pleural effusion. MRI showed no evidence of implants rupture, or periprosthetic fluid collections. Biopsy results suggested the diagnosis of silicosis granulomas.

Watch as expert Dr. Per Hedén discusses the article and its results.
