In acknowledgement and celebration of Women's History Month, PRS Global Open has curated this collection of articles highlighting women's important scientific contributions to plastic surgery and the genre-expanding work women are doing to carry plastic surgery into the 21st century.

We include here some of the most often cited PRS Global Open papers authored by women that are a "must read" for every plastic surgeon. Women also face unique opportunities and challenges as plastic surgeons and are at the forefront of improving inequities for our patients and colleagues, research that we are delighted to include here.

In the spirit of women's community and human inclusivity world wide, we are excited that the below PRS Global Open articles are open access for you to read and enjoy.
