There are two reported errors in the article “Simultaneous Salvage Auto-augmentation: Contemporary Strategy for Management of the Breast Explantation Patient,” published as e4860 on March 6, 2023, in Plastic and Surgery Global Open.

First, the incorrect version of Figure 1 was included in the final publication. The correct version of Figure 1 appears below.

Further, the first sentence in the Discussion section should be enclosed in quotation marks, as follows:

“Simultaneous versus delayed breast reconstruction after explantation is vital for the psychological welfare and body image of the patient. About 94% of all procedures included either implant replacement or removal in combination with further reconstructive measures. This indicates the importance of a reconstructed breast after implant complications or implant revision surgery, as reflected by numerous studies examining positive body image and quality of life after breast reconstruction.”39–43

The quoted section is from reference 39 (Khun) which in the original cites the additional references.40–43
