Judith Sands, MSL, BSN, RN, CPHRM, CPHQ, CCM, ARM, is a passionate and accomplished relationship-focused leader with more than 30 years of experience working in academia, hospitals, managed care, specialty networks, and health IT organizations. Ms. Sands is the author of Home Hospice Navigation: The Caregiver's Guide, the only independently produced caregiving resource for making home hospice understandable to caregivers. Ms. Sands earned a bachelor of science in nursing degree from the University of Florida and her master of science in leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Ms. Sands is a registered nurse, holding state and national certifications in case, quality, and risk management. She presented at various local and national conferences. Her current focus is on ensuring patient safety, care coordination, and bringing dignity to end-of-life care.
