Facial subcutaneous anatomy delineating the fat compartments of the cheek during subcutaneous undermining is demonstrated, as well as the relationship of the transition between fat compartments and the location of the retaining ligaments. Relevant anatomy to provide safety during subsmas dissection of the cheek is emphasized.
