Clinical Impression: Intussusception: An Abdominal Ultrasound Is Obtained: Surprise: Erratum

doi: 10.1097/PEC.0b013e3181fbbba7

In this article, in the second to last line of the second paragraph of the discussion, a word substitution occurred that could result in an incorrect reading of the material. The end of this line should read, "suggesting that the examination may have worsened since the patient was in the emergency room."

The authors intended to express their belief that the patient's clinical status likely worsened in the intervening time (i.e., since) between the patient's transfer from the ED to the arrival in the radiology department. We have great respect for our emergency department colleagues at CHOP and would not want anyone to misunderstand this statement as it has been printed with the word substitution.
