In the article “Prevalence and Associated Factors of Abdominal Pain and Disability at 1-Year Follow-up After an Attack of Acute Pancreatitis,” published in the November/December 2019 issue of Pancreas, the sentence in the Results section of the Abstract, ‘On regression analysis, idiopathic etiology (odds ratio [OR], 3.8; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.1–13.6) failure (OR, 3.3; 95% CI, 1.1–7.9), and recurrent AP (OR, 2.9; 95% CI, 1.1–10.6) were independently associated with abdominal pain at follow-up,’ contains an error. The word failure should have appeared as persistent organ failure.
