Abstract

Errata

In “Vertical and Horizontal Disparity with Different Orientations of the TNG Stereotest” by Drs. Stephen B. Kaye and Sean Chen, the references were cited out of order. References 5 and 6 in the text should read as follows:

Kaye SB, Siddiqui A, Ward A, Fisher AC, Green JR, Brown MC, Wareing PA, Watt P. Monocular and binocular depth discrimination thresholds. Optom Vis Sci 1999; 76: 770–82.Walraven J. Amblyopia screening with random–dot stereograms. Am J Ophthalmol 1975; 80: 893–900.

Optometry and Vision Science. 80(8):577, August 2003.

In the article titled “Corneal Aberrations and Reading” by Tobias Buehren, Michael J. Collins, and Leo G. Carney, published in the February 2003 issue of Optometry and Vision Science, Vol. 80, No. 2, pp. 159–166, there is an error in the data with reference to the OSA (Optical Society of America) convention. The corneal Zernike wavefront coefficient differences (condition minus baseline) shown in Figures 3 and 4 are presented with opposite signs (i.e. engineering convention with positive Z axis toward the retina) in comparison with OSA convention (positive Z axis away from the retina).

Therefore the signs of all Zernike coefficient differences presented in Figures 3 and 4 should be reversed (i.e. positive becomes negative and vice versa) to conform to the OSA convention.

In the article titled “A Quantitative Assessment of the Location and Width of Marx’s Line Along the Marginal Zone of the Human Eyelid,” published in the August 2003 issue of Optometry and Vision Science, Vol. 80, No. 8, pp. 564–572, there is an error in an author’s name.

The authors of this article are: Claire Donald, Leona Hamilton, and Michael J. Doughty.

In the article titled “Vertical and Horizontal Disparity with Different Orientations of the TNG Stereotest” by Drs. Stephen B. Kaye and Sean Chen, published in the July 2003 issue of Optometry and Vision Science, Vol. 80, No. 7, pp. 487–489, the references were cited out of order. References 5 and 6 in the text should read as follows:
