There is increased utilization of standardized perceptual tests by optometrists. They provide objective evaluation of many specific perceptual abilities. This information is useful in determining over-all perceptual functioning, specific perceptual deficits, perceptual style and preferred perceptual system. A listing of perceptual tests available for clinical optometric use is provided.
