Eighty-nine myopic patients, fitted with contact lenses, were studied for myopic change after 34.5 months of contact lens wear. The spectacle blur refraction, compared to the pre-fitting spectacle Rx was within ± 0.37 D for 76.3% of the patients without visual acuity loss. The contact lens in situ refractions, original and last, yielded similar data.
