Corneal stability was investigated with a new high-accuracy photokeratoscope to determine the influence of accommodation, convergence, pupil size, eye position, lid position, lid closure, miotics and rubbing. Significant changes in corneal curvature occurred as a result of lid forces, digital pressure, and rubbing.
