Preeclampsia is a major contributor of maternal and fetal morbidity and death, especially in the case of preterm births. Numerous studies have investigated the effect of prophylactic aspirin in the prevention of preeclampsia; however, the results have been contradictory. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of aspirin in preventing preeclampsia at term and preterm in relation to gestational age at onset of treatment as well as the therapeutic dose.
