Neuraxial analgesia during labor is commonly performed, but serious complications may arise due to infection of the neuraxial space. Although adherence to antisepsis precautions is mandatory, what appropriate antisepsis practice entails varies widely among countries and even hospitals within the same country. In view of this, the current study was undertaken with the primary aim of clarifying international antisepsis practices for neuraxial analgesia during labor.
