Pregnancies diagnosed as having fetal growth restriction (FGR) are defined as those where the estimated fetal weight by ultrasound is less than the 10th percentile. Several studies have shown an association between FGR fetuses and stillbirth, with the risk of stillbirth inversely proportional to the degree of growth restriction.
