GYNECOLOGY: INFERTILITY/REPRODUCTIVE TECHNOLOGIES

(Abstracted from Reprod Biomed Online 2018;36:543–551)

With the increasing incidence of cancer and survival rates among young women, the development of fertility preservation techniques is of critical importance for those who desire future pregnancy. The pattern of ovarian response and oocyte quality after ovarian stimulation in cancer patients of reproductive age has been studied in several retrospective studies, which often compared cancer patients with a historical control; results were mixed.
