Wolters Kluwer, publisher of Nursing Management journal, announced recently that its NM Congress2020 will be held in September 2020 in Las Vegas, Nev. NM Congress is one of the country's premier leadership and management educational conferences for nursing leaders across the continuum.
The NM Congress planning panel is seeking innovative podium presentation proposals for the conference. Speaker submissions should contain subject matter of interest to nurses in management and leadership roles across the continuum—including personal and professional development, stress reduction, time/project management, financial management, ethical/legal issues, team development, human resources issues, evidence-based practice, patient safety, and contemporary payment systems such as value-based purchasing.
In order to maintain the high quality of our presenters, speaker submissions should include a detailed speaking history and at least two references who can provide feedback on your previous presentations. In some cases, the planning panel may request video or audio of a previous presentation prior to final approval.
Proposals must include the following:
• Abstract title
• Two to three behavioral objectives (i.e., what will the attendee learn? Use objectives that begin with "describe," identify," "define," "list," etc.)
• Abstract (700 words or less)
• Recent references/supporting research (dated from 2013 to 2019)
• Current CV
• Previous speaking experience, to include references and evaluations (if possible).
Please submit all abstracts by December 4 to Senior Conference Coordinator Jessica Clark at Jessica.Clark@wolterskluwer.com. All applicants will be contacted by January 31, 2020.
