Haynes, Chantille, MN, BSc, RN; Maddigan, Joy, PhD, RN

doi: 10.1097/01.NUMA.0000552740.64201.0a

The collaboration of clinical nurses and academic nurse researchers is required to determine best practice. The development of a collaborative between a mid-sized university's nursing faculty and a clinical mental health and addictions program shows how to engage nurses in research to create an evidence-based culture.

At Memorial University of Newfoundland in St. John's, NL, Canada, Chantille Haynes is an instructor in the Centre for Nursing Studies and Joy Maddigan is an assistant professor in the Faculty of Nursing.
