In Brief

National Immunization Awareness Month highlights the importance of vaccination for people of all ages. Help raise awareness by sharing these helpful resources with patients and other healthcare professionals.

US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

The CDC has prepared a comprehensive online page with information about routine childhood vaccinations, vaccine assessments for adults to review previous immunizations and identify needed vaccines, and educational resources for healthcare professionals. The site also includes educational materials, including graphics with key messages and immunization facts.

National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID)

NFID's website offers a treasure trove of information on immunization, including articles investigating myths about vaccines and misinformation as well as patient testimonials about vaccine safety.

Public Health Foundation (PHF)

The PHF has partnered with the CDC and developed useful online resources, particularly the PHF Immunization Center, to highlight the benefits of immunization across the lifespan. PHF also formed the Immunization Partner Network–a group of immunization, healthcare, and communication professionals engaged in delivering timely messages about immunization events, new resources, and training opportunities.

Vaccinate Your Family

Vaccinate Your Family aims to protect people of all ages from vaccine-preventable diseases by raising awareness of the critical need for timely immunizations, improving the public's understanding of the benefits of vaccines, increasing confidence in vaccine safety, and ensuring access to lifesaving vaccines. They work with vaccine panels to support policies for timely vaccination.
