Teaching first level nursing students the nursing process in a manner that encourages appropriate application is critically important to nurse educators. This article relates the process of creating a multidimensional solution to this challenge. A client was created to assist nursing students with assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This teaching-learning strategy combines lectures, simulations, group work, and independent learning activities. Faculty and students recognize the positive results of this approach. Educators might consider our client as a Mrs. Chase of the 80s.
