18F-FDG PET/CT was performed on a 70-year-old man to stage the newly diagnosed multiple myeloma. A hypermetabolic lesion in the gallbladder fundus was revealed incidentally and suspected for gallbladder carcinoma, but was finally proven to be a cholesterol granuloma by the pathology of cholecystectomy.
