An 18F-FDG PET/CT was performed on a 74-year-old woman with pancreatic carcinoma and liver metastases. Occult giant cell arteritis, involving the aorta, truncus brachiocephalicus, subclavian arteries, axillaries, external carotid arteries, vertebral arteries, and superficial temporal arteries, was accidentally revealed.
