Previous literature has only shown extrahepatic uptake of hepatobiliary agents in cases of lung metastases from hepatocellular carcinoma. The use of imaging with biliary tracers can increase the diagnostic specificity when bone metastases from hepatoma are suspected. © Lippincott-Raven Publishers.
