ALTHOUGH MOST EXISTING LITERATURE HAS INVESTIGATED CREATINE TO IMPROVE STRENGTH AND BODY COMPOSITION, IT HAS ALSO BEEN SHOWN TO PROMOTE BRAIN ENERGY HOMEOSTASIS AND IMPROVE COGNITIVE PARAMETERS. THIS MAY BE ANOTHER MECHANISM FOR PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT BECAUSE EXERCISE IS BOTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY DEPLETING.
