In the article that appeared on pages 70-74 in the October, 2013 issue of Strength and Conditioning Journal, there was an error in the introduction on page 70. The data on the costs associated with osteoporosis was incorrectly transposed. The corrected sentence appears below.
The costs associated with osteoporosis during 2005 were estimated to be 19 billion dollars in the United States, and the costs are expected to increase to 25.3 billion dollars by 2025 (26).
