Muscular imbalances at the shoulder related to the rotator cuff may increase injury risk and negatively affect performance. The focus of this article is on presenting to coaches and to athletes who use the shoulder to perform athletic moves (e.g., pitchers, tennis players) valuable information about how to apply exercise protocols to be more efficient and minimize the risk of injury.
