Address correspondence to Dr. Nicholas A. Ratamess,

We are pleased to announce that we are changing the publication format of our original investigations, research notes, technical reports, and brief review articles. This format change will increase space efficiency and allow more published content per issue. Most notably, the Abstract and Key Words will be boxed, highlighted, and depicted across the page (as opposed to columns), the Practical Applications section will be boxed and highlighted, and Reference citations will be condensed (please see the online Instructions for Authors for updates). Because many articles in the system have already been formatted for publication with the old format, both formats will be used simultaneously for the next several issues. This transitional process will be progressive where only a few articles per issue will use the new format initially but will gradually increase over time until all JSCR articles publish with the new format. Thank you for your continued support of the journal.
