ABSTRACTThe purpose of this investigation was to study the kinds of Mexican androgens being brought into the U.S. and to determine the prevalence of androgen self-administration among adult male and female private gymnasium users living in a U.S. city near the border with Mexico. The goal of this research brief is to educate strength and conditioning professionals and athlete-related health-care personnel to the Mexican steroids most likely used by athletes in the United States.
