​ Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine (CARM) was founded in 1983, is a national association representing all members of the interdisciplinary medical rehabilitation team. CARM is dedicated to disseminating scientific spirit and ideas, popularizing knowledge of rehabilitation medicine; promoting advanced rehabilitation techniques and methods; carrying out global academic exchanges, organizing continuing education and professional training in rehabilitation medicine. It is a professional community of both researchers and consumers of research, in the field of rehabilitation.​
