The July 4 issue of Neurology Today featured the first class of participants in the AAN's Emerging Leaders Forum, a leadership training program designed specifically to identify, orient, and cultivate talented, highly motivated individuals as future Academy leaders. Due to a design error, one of the participant's comments were omitted. They appear below.

ALEKSANDAR VIDENOVIC, MD: “The program has equipped me with a better understanding of core leadership skills and empowered me to develop them through didactic courses, interactions with AAN leadership, program mentors and fellow ELFs. It builds an excellent foundation for ongoing development provides the means to get involved with AAN and put our skill sets to use in the various aspects of the AAN mission, whether that be patient care, education, science, advocacy, or practice.”
