Dementia II (found poem)
Thoughts fly out of my head
never to return.
Extinction: sadness amplified,
hovers yet,
the last to go.

Mud and feathers
clinging to a wall;
the phoebes flutter
around that home.
Birds sing back to us
an aspect of ourselves.
