The MCN Practice Paper of the Year and The MCN Research Paper of the Year are chosen by a distinguished panel of experts who designate these articles as having outstanding scholarly attributes as well as clear applicability to clinical nursing practice.

Each year, award winners are notified in January, and listed in the January/February issue of MCN. These worthy nurses each receive a cash award along with a certificate commemorating their accomplishment.
