The American Association for the Surgery of Trauma

Since its inception, the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma was established to further the study and practice of traumatic surgery in its various departments, in the United States and Canada. Those initial ideals have since expanded to include: furnish leadership and to foster advances in the surgery of trauma; to enhance the study and practice of the surgery of trauma by establishing lectureships, scholarships, foundations, and appropriate evaluation procedures in the surgery of trauma where appropriate; to afford recognition to those who have contributed to the surgery of trauma by extending to them membership in the Association.

The Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma

The Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma (EAST) is a not for profit 501(c) 3 organization organized to furnish leadership and foster advances in the care of injured patients. EAST affords a forum for the exchange of knowledge pertaining to the care and rehabilitation of the injured patient. Additionally, the organization stimulates investigation and teaching in methods of treating and preventing injury from all causes. EAST is dedicated to the study of the practice of surgery of trauma patients by establishing lectureships, scholarships, and foundations to promote, reward, and recognize individuals working in the field of injury and injury control.

Pediatric Trauma Society 
The mission of the Pediatric Trauma Society is to improve pediatric trauma outcomes. The organization's vision is to be a global leader in the field of pediatric trauma through optimal care guidelines, education, research, and advocacy. The Pediatric Trauma Society is an inclusive organization open to all those dedicated to the care of injured children.

Trauma Association of Canada/L'Association Canadienne de Traumatologie
Trauma Association of Canada is a multi-disciplinary Society of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The organization strives to improve the quality of care provided to the injured patient, including pre-hospital management and transport, acute care hospitalization, and reintegration into society. It also supports, conducts, and applies basic science, clinical and outcome research related to trauma, while encouraging effective and efficient use of health care resources in the delivery of trauma care, and fostering professional and community education in the field of injury prevention and in the care of the injured patient.

Western Trauma Association

Western Trauma Association is committed to the improvement of trauma care through research, education, sharing of clinical experiences, and the development of physicians of all specialties who are involved in the care of trauma patients. The goals of the Association are not only the intellectual growth attained through increased knowledge, but also the emotional growth attained through camaraderie and interaction with family and friends in an environment conducive to winter sports.
