Springlite Lo Rider

It’s here! Springlite proudly announces the release of their newest prosthetic foot product—the Lo Rider. Finally a foot designed and built for today’s want-it-all amputee. The Springlite Lo Rider is made for the individual who varies his/her walking speed, demands surface conformance and agility in a foot with low clearance requirements.

Amputees will benefit from the lightweight, slim profile of the Lo Rider, while enjoying its’ dynamic heel and toe response. The Lo Rider expands on Springlite’s unique elastomeric technology by offering a new carbon fiber design for both the upper and lower platforms. The thick urethane layer sandwiched between the carbon fiber plates is uniquely designed to maximize heel rollover to midstance while yielding maximally in the medial-lateral plane for greater inversion/eversion capability. Because this is accomplished within the urethane layer, there are no mechanical interfaces to breakdown or maintain, no screws to lose or make noise, no straps to break or bumpers to change. Nothing to take away from the sheer enjoyment of wearing this foot.

Prosthetists will enjoy the Lo Rider’s ease of use as it has no maintenance requirements, nothing to adjust, replace or tighten over time. The Lo Rider is shipped inclusive of a Universal pyramid and anatomical footshell. The integral pyramid provides prosthetists with interchangeability with any other modular system.

The new carbon fiber design is ideal for Symes amputees of all activity levels. The Lo Rider is recommended for lower limb amputees weighing up to 300 lbs. (136 kg) with moderate activity and 220 lbs. (100kg) for higher activity levels. Lo Rider is available for same day shipping to facilitate your last minute rush orders*.
