Journal of Public Health Management and Practice: July 2002 - Volume 8 - Issue 4 - p 9-13 Buy Abstract This article examines to what extent data are typically available at the state and local level to track the Healthy People 2010 (HP 2010) objectives. It is estimated that there is a data source to track 56 percent of the relevant HP 2010 objectives at the state level and only 33 percent of the objectives can be tracked at the county level. The main solution for tracking more objectives at the state and county level is to expand the number of questions and coverage of the BRFSS and YRBS. © Aspen Publishers, Inc.
