Dear Readers,

In light of the rapid evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic, your editors have prioritized several recent (as of April 22, 2020) submissions including a review by your leadership (1), a society article from the PORTO group of ESPGHAN on pediatric inflammatory bowel disease (2), and a society paper from NASPGHAN on endoscopy (3) to highlight issues pertinent to providers caring for pediatric patients in this unusual environment. We hope you will find these articles informative and helpful. We do indeed recognize that the usefulness of these articles will be at the time they are published ahead of print (in early April), even though this print version appears in the June issue (the next issue of JPGN available for publication).

Our thoughts are with you, your families, and your patients during this difficult period.
