A review article entitled Triple-Negative Breast Cancer: Role of the Androgen Receptor published in the Jan/Feb 2010 issue of The Cancer Journal described results from a paper by Doane, AS et al. (Oncogene 25, 39994-4008 [2006]). An inadvertent error in describing the results of the cited paper may seem to suggest that the work was accomplished by the authors of the review article. Although the authors are members of the same research team that performed this work (Doane et al), they are not authors on the cited paper and had no role in that particular citation.
