We on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Pediatric Surgical Nursing are happy that the journal is flourishing. This month, we present articles from pediatric surgical nurse researcher colleagues in India and Turkey. We showcase a comprehensive look at the problem of child trafficking from a renowned expert in the field, Dr. Jessica Peck. This article will serve to open our eyes, as Dr. Peck tells us that most children who are trafficked are seen by health care providers untrained in recognition. The article on ovarian torsion also offers a surprise in sharing that these ovarian injuries are most frequent between 9 and 14 years old. The year 2021 will begin with a special issue on gender-related issues, then one on gastrointestinal tubes, and one on families. To assist our nurse practitioner readers, we will begin offering a pharmacology column in 2021 as well. Please write to us with your thoughts, send letters to the editor about the articles you read, and start 2021 with health and happiness.
