Congratulations to APSNA's Newly Elected Board Members
Please join the Board of Directors in welcoming 2 newly elected board members who will serve the 2021 to 2023 term. Board members are tasked with conducting the business of APSNA in the best interest of the organization, its members and the community it services.
We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge these individuals for their willingness to step forward and serve in this capacity. We are very fortunate to have members who are strong leaders, value volunteerism and are dedicated to supporting APSNA's mission and vision.
Teresa Gonzalez, PNP-PC/AC has been elected to the position of Treasurer. She is employed as Lead Advanced Practice Provider at Phoenix Children's Hospital. Teresa's main goal for her role will be to maintain accurate APSNA financial records and to support the mission, vision and goals of the Organization. She will bring her leadership and organizational skills to the role and work with the organization's financial team to explore ways to increase financial growth.
Director of Development
Irene Austria-Ramos RN, BSN, MSN has been elected to the position of Director of Development. She is employed as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner within the Colorectal Program at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. She is responsible for coordinating the care of patients in the colorectal program. As a fresh set of eyes, Irene hopes to bring new energy to the Organization. She commits to working very hard to maintain established sponsors and develop new relationships with Industry. Irene will plan, coordinate and promote organizational fundraisers that support APSNA and its award
