Sheng Zhang, PhD, is vice president of research and development at Adhezion Biomedical, with over 20 years of medical device development/approval/commercialization and chemical research experiences. He holds a PhD in chemistry from Peking University, has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles, and has been awarded over 100 patents in the field of medical devices.
Bethany S. Lingle, BS, holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry and biochemistry from Campbell University in North Carolina. She is a former research and development employee of Adhezion Biomedical. She has worked in quality control chemistry/research and development, works currently in pharmaceutical manufacturing, and has held supervisory positions in operations and quality assurance.
Shannon Phelps, BS, is a research specialist at Adhezion Biomedical. Mrs Phelps holds a bachelor of science degree in ecology and environmental biology from Appalachian State University in North Carolina. Her degree prepared her for the workforce in a science field, but being employed by Adhezion Biomedical for well over a decade allowed her to specialize in the research and development side of medical devices containing cyanoacrylate.
