Imad F. Btaiche is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy, a Clinical Pharmacist at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers, and the Director of the Critical Care Residency Program. He is board certified in nutrition support and is actively engaged in pharmacy and nutrition support practice, education, and research. He has served in leadership roles on local and national scientific committees, along with several editorial responsibilities, and has many publications in the area of nutrition support.
Debra S. Kovacevich is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and is Clinical Nurse Manager for HomeMed at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers. Her primary areas of interest are home infusion therapy, parenteral nutrition, and patient education. She has several publications in nutrition support with leadership roles in local and national organizations, as well as editorial responsibilities, and she has more than 20 years of home infusion experience.
Nabil Khalidi is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy and Director of International Programs at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy. Dr Khalidi is the founder and lecturer of the vascular access course for pharmacists, and he had management oversight over the vascular access team for more than 10 years at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers. He has many national and international contributions and recognitions.
Lorelei F. Papke is the Cofounder and Clinical Nurse Manager for the Vascular Access Services Team at the University of Michigan Health System. She received her nursing diploma from the Mercy School of Nursing of Detroit, then her bachelor's of nursing from Eastern Michigan University, her master's degree in nursing and administration from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan, and finally a certificate as a health systems educator. She achieved Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI®) in 1988 and has maintained this certification to date. Twenty of her 26 years in nursing have been professionally related to the specialty of vascular access and infusion therapy. During these years she has been active at the local, national, and international levels in various professional organizations including Infusion Nurses Society and Association for Vascular Access.
